This week I set up a tabletop studio and had some fun with some water droplets. Initially I had some issues with colour, but I found a way around this. The setup involves bouncing a flash off a coloured background, I had some construction paper in blue, red and yellow. However the colours did not come through in the pictures. Then I tried a 3 ring binder with a gloss finish. I propped this behind the water drops, aimed the flash onto the binder... and hey presto!
These images have had no extra colour added in the post processing.
